Remuneration

Remuneration due for my legal services is always based on individual negotiations and depends on many factors, such as time commitment, type of contract, type of legal problems to be solved, complexity of the case, anticipated length of court proceedings and others. The customer is always asked to give a brief description of the case, which may be helpful in assessing the value of the service. The preliminary assessment of the case or discussion about the legal problem is always free of charge and is offered through personal contact, phone conversation or exchange of  e-mails.

The law firm offers a variety of forms of cooperation with clients. This can be a long-term subscription services, covering all customer matters, accidental aid for a single case, or ad hoc contact, just to give advice or conduct certain act. Within this range of services, depending on the clients’ need a various forms of remuneration are offered to customer:

  • subscription rates (lump sum for certain term, preferably monthly);
  • hourly rates (counted cumulatively, or in packets);
  • a fixed priced lump sum for conducting certain case or legal act;
  • a basic fixed priced lum sum for conducting case or legal act and additional reward for positive result (success fee)

For a limited time, I can provide counselling as an in-house lawyer (for the company, or institution) or off-counsel (bound by the contract or providing services as the law firm – B2B agreement).

In cooperation with entrepreneurs, the most common payment method I am offering is a monthly subscription rate that covers the following legal services:

  • providing counselling, consultation, and explanation in reference to law application;
  • drafting legal opinions and papers, summons, payment demands, pre-trial scripts, etc;
  • participation, on customer demand, in negotiations with other parties;
  • drafting and consulting of contracts commenced by customer;
  • securing the corporate order and conformance of internal relations;
  • providing services referring to Labour Law and obligations.

The rate of monthly subscription depends on the time commitment required to perform the above mentioned activities. It is equally possible to apply hourly rates, accumulated overtime (for effectively worked hours) or in multi-hour packages of 5,10, 20 or 40 hours.

Other forms of remuneration are preferred in court case handling. For each litigation, I usually use a basic salary, which is calculated as certain percentage (> 100) of minimal statutory rate for such type of dispute and additional success fee, determined individually in each case with the client

Other forms of payments are also possible, depending on the wishes of the client.
